Howdy Solar Partner!

Here is a friendly heads-up about something super important related to your design.

Our custom software is seriously awesome and designed to make your life easier. However, there’s a little twist: it looks up the wind speed and snow load from the nearest region, BUT that may not always align with your local jurisdiction. Different places, different rules, right?

So, before you dive headfirst into your project, we recommend this one simple step:
Make the call to your local county permitting office. Ask them if there are specific design criteria (wind speed, ground snow load & wind exposure category) they need you to follow. Get the lowdown on their requirements, and ensure it matches what our software generates. If not, you can override those values in the following pop-up window.

No Permit needed? No Problem. If your area does not require permitting, you may still want to double-check to ensure structural integrity. Choose your loads wisely and proceed!

I understand it is my responsibility to validate the Wind Speed, Ground Snow Load, and Wind Exposure used in my design.
