Wind Exposure Category* Most projects can use Exposure B due to buildings or trees somewhere around the array.
Exposure category is based upon ground surface roughness, which is determined from the topography, vegetation, and existing structures. ASCE 7-16 defines three exposure categories.

Desired Front Edge Ground Clearance* The distance from the leading edge of array to the ground. We recommend a minimum of 5ft. Due to our hoist system, higher ground clearance does not affect installation time.

Complimentary Foundation Recommendation Design as 48" x 48" Design as 36" round (may be quite deep)
We will provide a complimentary foundation recommendation with the calculation package. Standard is 48" x 48" square or a 36" round foundation. All foundation recommendations will be designed using a soil class: 4 or sand.
Forming or sonotube are not recommended due to compaction concerns on the sides of the hole. It is recommended that the foundation be poured directly to native soil on all sides.
If the project requires something outside of those two options you will need to work with an engineer in your area to get that designed.
