EcoBeam Configurability

Ecobeam is easy to configure for diverse power needs. A single-pole mount can support up to 12 modules. Joining two Ecobeams with 40-foot beams can support arrays of up to 28 modules.

About The Steel Beams

We’re able to offer the EcoBeam at a great price by removing the small sections of beam packaged with MT Solar’s flagship mounts. These small sections are designed for one person to handle, and to fit on a small pallet. By removing these from the shipped package, you save on both manufacturing and freight costs.

Sourcing and handling these heavier, full-length parts does take a little more effort and resources, but it also increases profits for installers willing to take it on.

EcoBeam is easy to install with the right planning and resources. This racking uses the same lift-and-hoist system that enables installers to assemble arrays with their feet on the ground and then hoist them to height with less effort and no heavy equipment.

EcoBeam does require the ability to handle, transport, and drill steel I-beams ranging from 20 to 40 feet, depending on the size of the array. For installers with this capability, EcoBeam is a straightforward and economical solar mount to install.

EcoBeam can be set to tilt angles of 10º, 20º, 25º, 30º, 35º, or 40º. The tilt is set during the installation process and is not manually adjustable. For solar ground mounts with an easy-to-adjust array, MT Solar’s flagship is an excellent choice.

EcoBeam can be configured for arrays with as few as eight modules and up to 12 modules on a single-pole mount. EcoBeam can also be doubled to create a two-pole mount that will support arrays with between 20 and 28 modules. Configuration options may vary depending on the module dimensions.

EcoBeam meets heavy-duty structural requirements as a standard. Suitability for a specific location, soil type, or terrain details can be confirmed in the Solar Mount AutoDesigner, which verifies suitability based on the location’s wind and snow loads, soil type, and other parameters.

EcoBeam does require sourcing and handling of heavy and lengthy steel beams. For this reason, specialty accommodations or equipment may be needed when transporting these parts to remote or difficult-to-reach locations.

EcoBeam is sold with quality pricing. Price breaks are given at five or more mounts, 50 or more mounts, and 100 or more mounts.
